Meet The Apprentices
James was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada with his mom and younger sister when he was seven years old. Having finished high school in North Delta, he went on to complete his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in French at the University of British Columbia in 2010 during which he was involved in the ministry of a local church in Surrey and Power to Change ministries (formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ). He worked as a pastoral staff at Surrey Chinese Baptist Church for two years before apprenticing at Willingdon Church. He enjoys going on walks, having deep conversations with friends, cooking and reading books that stimulate thoughts about God, life and culture.

Jake also recently married the love of his life Maisie, and together they enjoy watching movies, having dinner with friends, and spending time with their extended families.
Daniel has attended Willingdon Church for the past 15 years. He recently married Stephanie and graduated from UBC with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Daniel feels blessed to serve the people he has grown up worshiping the Lord with.
