Meet The Apprentices
James W.
James was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada with his mom and younger sister when he was seven years old. Having finished high school in North Delta, he went on to complete his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in French at the University of British Columbia in 2010 during which he was involved in the ministry of a local church in Surrey and Power to Change ministries (formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ). He worked as a pastoral staff at Surrey Chinese Baptist Church for two years before apprenticing at Willingdon Church. He enjoys going on walks, having deep conversations with friends, cooking and reading books that stimulate thoughts about God, life and culture.
