Dealing with Ongoing Sin
The ancient Hebrew Calendar contained 7 sacred feasts. The most important was the Sabbath, celebrated every week. The others include Passover, the Feast of First Fruits, the Feast of Weeks, the Feast of Trumpets, the Feast of Booths and the Day of Atonement. Of all of these feasts, the day of atonement was most solemn. It was approached with a sense of inner grief over one’s own sins. Today we will find what this ancient feast means for believers in Jesus. We will find that Leviticus 16 not only teaches us about Christ, but also teaches believers what to do when we sin.
