Small group Bible studies meet each week to discuss topics relating to the weekend service. These study notes act as a guide for the Bible study participants. Note that on weeks where there is a guest speaker or the Bible studies are not in session, there may not be a set of study notes posted.

Bible Study Questions:
1. Remember the lawnmower story Phil told? What would you have done if you were Vance and someone busted your lawnmower? Be honest.
2. Read these verses again: Proverbs 17:19, Ephesians 4:2-3, Colossians 3:13. What do we miss out on when we hold on to bitterness and refuse to forgive?
3. Remember Phil's statement, "You can't be a smart cookie if you have a crummy attitude?" a. What have you encountered this week that tested your attitude? b. Read and discuss 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17
4. Phil admitted that he's terrified of public speaking. What terrifies you? What do you need to lay on the altar as Phil described doing?
5. Remember Phil's earthquake experience? Do you remember something he said in the story that struck you as funny? How would you define success?
6. Read Matthew 6:20. Phil talked of the hope of heaven. What is something that helps us look forward to the joys of heaven? What is something that hinders us from living that way?
